Onsite meeting held 1 Feb - 5 Council officers including Commercial Business Manager, 4 NF2 reps plus 3 interested local residents. Positive meeting, lots of questions, comments and discussion.
Landscape Masterplan - assured us it will happen in 2010 and we will be invited to contribute. Probably via an onsite meeting initially.
Friends group - Council attitude completely changed on having a Friends group at SWC. Jodie will organise a meeting to work out how to proceed with a Friends group in early March. Suggested we contact Pioneer cemetery Friends co-ordinator.
Ongoing communication about SWC - through NF2 process initially.
Informal discussion after meeting covered topics such as - roadway on top of western side needs to be blocked off, no shade in hot weather, careless herbiciding around graves, reducing mowing of endangered Kangaroo grassland on northern side, involving Council environment officers because of endangered vegetation, possible tourism potential of old cemetery + beautiful location+ endangered vegetation - Pittwater Council example.

7. Pest Animal Management discussion paper
WCC reviewing pest control policy. Community feed back sought - form available.

8. New Coledale Gully Bushcare group:-
Coledale Hospital gully - listed federally as critically endangered ecological community. Danie and others are planning to start a Bushcare group within a few months and go for some support funding. Those who have previously expressed interest have been emailed. Anyone interested please contact Danie.

9. Job sharing roster passed around.

10. Outstanding items:
Dogs on beaches - nothing seem to be happening. Many submissions which are currently being collated. Emotional local issue - update required.
Car park at Scarborough Hotel - Cars still parking over footpath. Possible bollards.
Needs to be reviewed.

11. General business:
External review about neighbourhood forums supposed to be actioned.
Fraternity Club meeting about corruption tomorrow night (04.02.2010)
Park Street - 50 speed sign faded on road. Suggested writing to traffic committee.
Archiving in WCC - TRIM. Means there is a record of every communication.
CCNF/NF2 website - ccnc.org.au John asked for any local history information -great to have on website. Our website has relevant links that are easier to access than WCC site.
Rededication of RSL memorial - Saturday 20th February. Veterans Affairs minister & Sharon Bird expected to be in attendance. Old memorial will be re-erected.
Memorial from Clifton Station to Scarborough School to RSL Club - south eastern corner. Old flag pole - unknown where abouts.
